The FM Communicator extends support for the real-time monitoring of at least 20 CAN Bus parameters and include some additional hardware changes to further enhance performance and reliability.
The FM Communicator is equipped with a faster and more advanced CAN controller / co-processor that allows for the recording of at least 20 CAN bus parameters. The CAN - J1939 and J1708 - J1587 standards are supported. When wired to the vehicle's CAN bus and with the appropriate script loaded, the FM Communicator is capable of recording:
Speed, RPM, fuel consumption, fuel tank level, PTO, coolant level, coolant temperature high, oil pressure high, oil level low, clutch over-load, maximum axel weight, brakes applied, clutch engaged, total engine hours, vehicle odometer, distance to next service, TCO drive recognise, TCO over speed and TCO direction indicator.
A faster primary microcontroller offers over 50% more volatile memory and controllable clock speed, making for faster processing with the benefit of reduced power consumption.
